It is a good idea to type a note to get the patient to show up in the report.
If the patient was recently in the ED, then the patient should show up on your current shift’s report.
For the stickynote, put as follows:
G395 admitted June 4
If the patient does not show up on your shift report, then download a report from the library by typing in the number below. The report is called ‘ED Physician Billing Report – Inpatient Patients’
Run the report. It may be slow and may include all admitted patients for the past month.
Find the patient; add billing codes and admit date to the stickynote.
Click on “Re-Run report” in the top right corner.
Export using the filename:
Smith June 8 admitted General
